These Terms and Conditions regulate the use of the website and purchases made through it, in accordance with Portuguese Decree-Law no. 7/2004 (e-commerce) and other applicable legislation.
The user undertakes to use the website responsibly, not engaging in acts that may compromise its operation, security or integrity. We reserve the right to restrict or suspend access whenever improper use is detected.
By placing an order, the user confirms that:
Products are personalised based on the customer's choices. Once production has started, it is not possible to cancel, alter or correct the order, without prejudice to the Returns and Refunds Policy.
The online editor allows the autonomous creation of personalised projects.
Production version and editing after adding to cart: When a project is added to the cart, it is locked in that version and can no longer be edited; that is the version sent to production after order confirmation and payment. To make changes you must duplicate the project or create a new one, which are independent versions and do not replace the version already added to the cart. We recommend confirming that the project is complete before adding it to the cart.
Some products, in particular personalised children's books, may use Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies to generate personalised illustrations and visual content. These technologies are used solely to transform content provided by the customer into the final product. Céu Azul does not use customer content for general AI model training or external commercial reuse.
Production and delivery times depend on destination and shipping method. Indicated times are estimates and may change during peak periods. Detailed shipping conditions, deadlines and costs are available on the Shipping and Payment page.
Under Portuguese Decree-Law no. 24/2014, the consumer is generally entitled to a 14-day right of withdrawal for distance purchases.
However, in accordance with article 17(1)(c) of that decree-law, this right does not apply to contracts for the supply of goods made to the consumer's specifications or clearly personalised, which is the case for most products sold by Céu Azul.
This limitation does not affect the consumer's rights in the event of a product not conforming to the contract, as set out in the Returns and Refunds Policy and applicable law.
Under Portuguese Decree-Law no. 84/2021, the consumer benefits from a 3-year legal warranty of conformity from the date of delivery for movable goods.
In case of manufacturing defect or non-conformity, the customer should contact Céu Azul preferably within 30 days of becoming aware of the issue, by emailing [email protected], providing:
Full conditions, resolution times and consumer rights are set out in the Returns and Refunds Policy.
